The 5th edition of the Catad'Or World Spirits Awards will take place in parallel with the 30th edition of the Catad'Or World Wine Awards, on October 28 and 29, 2025.
With 30 years of experience, the Catad'Or World Wine Awards is the oldest and most prestigious international wine and spirits competition in Latin America. This event, based in Chile, the fourth-largest wine exporter in the world and the leading producer of pisco, has the sponsorship of the OIV and ANIAE. Additionally, it is the only competition in Ibero-America that is a member of VINOFED.
Catad’Or World Spirits Awards convene an expert international jury dedicated exclusively to spirits who evaluate in blind tastings and award medals and special trophies by category.

THE COMPETITION
• 5 years of experience
• Sponsorships: VINOFED and ANIAE
• Member of VINOFED Board
• 300 samples from 9 countries in 2024
THE TASTING
• 2 days of tastings
• 50 judges from 18 nationalities
• Blind tasting exclusively
• Fully digital process with OIV-compliant forms
• Certificate and complete private evaluation report for each registered product
THE AWARDS
• Visibility in distribution markets
• Proof of quality for the consumer
• Value added to acquire new markets (Brazil, U.S.A.)
• Press and publications USD 400,000 in media value
The products are evaluated in blind tastings and can aspire to the following recognitions:
Great Gold Medal (reference 92 points or more)
Gold Medal (reference 89 to 91.9 points)
Silver Medal (reference 86 to 88.9 points)
Through its modern technological platform, Catad'Or offers a comprehensive evaluation report for each submitted product via a private account created for every participating company.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
ONLINE REGISTRATION - CREATION OF A PRIVATE ACCOUNT
Create a private account and save all the history of your participations:
Register your company: Complete the online registration form at catador.cl/enroll, you will receive an email with your password.
Use this password to log into your private account and register the products. Finally, select “SEND PRODUCTS TO COMPETITION”.
Subsequently, you will receive an email containing the invoice, payment instructions and the manual for sending samples.

INTERNATIONAL
1. Send 2 bottles per sample in suitable labelled packaging. Email a Free Trade Certificate issued by your country of origin to: concurso@catador.cl
2. Attach a pro forma invoice mentioning 'samples of no commercial value'.
3. Address your samples to: Catad’Or World Spirits Awards

After the award ceremony, the participating companies will be able to access from their private account the detailed score by tasting table of each of their products presented and download their official certificate and diplomas. Likewise, they will be able to access the general statistics of the competition.

The registration of international products has a value of USD $ 130 per sample. Taxes and customs not included.
