Catad’Or World Wine Awards is the most important international wine competition in Latin America. Celebrating 30 years of excellence in 2025, this prestigious event has been held since 1995 in Chile, the world’s fourth-largest wine exporter.
It is the only competition in Latin America with the dual endorsement of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) and VINOFED, the World Federation of Major International Wine and Spirits Competitions, where it has the honor of being a board member.
In its 2025 edition, Catad’Or World Wine Awards will evaluate and reward still, sparkling, and de alcoholized wines (a new category) from around the world.Japanese sake, cider, and other fermented beverages will also be evaluated and rewarded in the 'Other Fermented Beverages' category.
Additionally, 2025 will mark the fifth edition of the Catad’Or World Spirits Awards, dedicated to recognizing excellence in spirits.
THE COMPETITION

• 80 judges from 18 nationalities

The products are evaluated in blind tastings and can aspire to the following recognitions:
Great Gold Medal (reference 93 points or more)
Gold Medal (reference 89 to 92.9 points)
Silver Medal (reference 85 to 88.9 points)
Catad’Or is based on the OIV rule of 30% of awarded samples, so some medal-worthy scores may ultimately not get it.

Through its modern technological platform, Catad'Or offers a comprehensive evaluation report for each submitted product via a private account created for every participating company.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
ONLINE REGISTRATION - CREATION OF A PRIVATE ACCOUNT
Create a private account and save all the history of your participations:
Register your company: Complete the online registration form at catador.cl/enroll, you will receive an email with your password.
Use this password to log into your private account and register the products. Finally, select “SEND PRODUCTS TO COMPETITION”.
Subsequently, you will receive an email containing the invoice, payment instructions and the manual for sending samples.

After the award ceremony, the participating companies will be able to access from their private account the detailed score by tasting table of each of their products presented and download their official certificate and diplomas. Likewise, they will be able to access the general statistics of the competition.
